Homework Remodels and our associate company Tri-Lite builders are two of the most respected remodeling companies in the Valley of the Sun. We are dedicated to serving our happy clients in the most professional way possible.
Homework remodels was founded seven years ago by Steve Shinn. Clients from Steve's previous successful home improvement business formed the referral base that has grown into one of the leading remodeling companies in the Valley.
Steve is currently the Chairman of the Board, and past President, of the Greater Phoenix Chapter of the the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI), winner of the local 2011 & 2012 NARI Contractor of the Year award (CotY) for interior remodels under $100,000, and Historic Renovation. He is also the only remodeler in Arizona certified by NARI in four fields; residential remodeling, green remodeling, universal design remodeling, plus kitchen & bathroom remodeling. NARI is the nations only non-profit organization dedicated to education and ethics in professional remodeling.
Tri-Lite Builders was founded nearly thirty years ago by Wayne and Linda Minde. They have always been dedicated to the highest standards of client service, and have worked tirelessly to implement business systems to provide the service and security homeowners deserve. They have won numerous awards over the years for both exceptional remodeling and service.

Steve, Wayne and Linda met through their participation in Greater Phoenix NARI. They found that they
had much in common and formed an immediate friendship. This friendship grew over the years to produce today's business alliance between Homework Remodels and Tri-Lite builders.
The Mindes invited Steve to taken over leadership of the Tri-Lite Builders with the ongoing support of co-owner Linda Minde so that Wayne could retire from the business. Both Homework Remodels and Tri-Lite Builders are now directed by a unified management staff located in central Phoenix and supported by showrooms in Scottsdale, Tempe, and Peoria. Our location at 202 E McDowell Road allows us easy access to the entire valley. We gratefully serve happy clients in Phoenix, Scottsdale, Tempe, Chandler, Ahwatukee, Gilbert, Queen Creek, Mesa, Glendale, Peoria, and beyond. |
