Before & During: Once we removed the surface materials it was obvious that we needed to strip the room down to the framing members and start over. The following photos will illustrate our journey. Click photos to enlarge. |
Small bathrooms are difficult to photograph, but these shots show how our work completely changed the feel of this bathroom.
It was along way from demolition to the finished bathroom.
Oil rubbed bronze fixtures and warm travertine stone create an all together new feel to this historic bathroom.
All new tile work, cabinetry and countertops set off the new bathroom in the historic Encanto Palmcroft neighborhood.
The existing floor needed to be totally removed and replaced due to water damage from the existing shower. The new floor was installed and covered with the same cement board as the new shower walls. The cement board provides a solid backing for the tile and is highly resistant to water damage. The bottom of the new shower was also lined with a waterproof liner for added durability.
